The growing momentum of PRIDE Month celebrations is heartening, particularly as an increasing number of corporates actively embrace inclusion. This shift in perspective and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community within the workplace signifies a growing recognition of the crucial role of PRIDE advocacy in businesses. Today, companies are taking proactive steps to support and promote LGBTQ+ rights and inclusivity, both within their corporate environments and in broader society.
A recent study conducted by Avtar & Seramount, which analyzed 40 companies participating in the Most Inclusive Companies Index, revealed that an astounding 90% of the surveyed companies have a specific focus on the LGBTQ+ community. In fact, at least two-thirds of these companies are implementing proactive measures to attract and retain LGBTQ+ talent.
