The solution

  • Technology strategy and intranet redesign
  • Software implemented: FatWire 7.62 (now Oracle WebCenter Sites), SharePoint, Java
  • Implementation a strategy for a phased CMS migration
  • Implemented social media widgets (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) for internal and external feeds
  • Accelerated go live while its new SharePoint environment being developed

Results

Textron was able to leverage more social features straight from their intranet homepage while leveraging FatWire and SharePoint to its fullest.
